The Engine

The Engine is the machine behind Signals Logic. It continuously collects what buyers say in public — complaints, reviews, forum threads, job postings, regulatory filings — and turns it into structured research you can act on. Here is everything it produces, in plain language.

The reports

Pain Verification Report · 1 credit

The question it answers: is the pain in this market real, or just noise?

What's inside: the market's biggest complaint themes named in buyers' own words, verbatim quotes with links to every source, the systems buyers feel trapped in, the jobs companies hire to work around the problem (proof of budget), and a verdict: STRONG, MODERATE, or WEAK. If the evidence is weak, the report says so — a "don't build this" answer is the product working, not failing.

Opportunity Dossier · 3 credits

The question it answers: should I actually pursue this, and how?

What's inside: everything the Pain Report found, plus verified budgets (what companies demonstrably spend), a map of existing competitors and their weaknesses in their customers' words, the structural gaps nobody is filling, ranked entry points, and a mandatory "biggest risk" section written honestly enough to talk you out of it. Includes the Customer Discovery Kit: interview scripts with pre-set pass/fail criteria so you can validate with real conversations.

Buyer Sourcing Plan · 2 credits · Logic tier

The question it answers: who exactly do I contact, and when?

What's inside: which official registries list your actual buyers (license rosters, government databases), exact search recipes, how to spot brand-new entrants (the best time to reach anyone), and the compliance rules for outreach built in — CAN-SPAM, do-not-call — so you start conversations the right way.

Message Logic Report · 1 credit

The question it answers: will my website/pitch actually land with these buyers?

What's inside: your copy scored against our messaging rules (does it lead with the buyer's problem? one clear next step? readable in 5 seconds?), plus a rewritten first screen built from the market's real buyer language — with a source link on every borrowed phrase.

Where the data comes from

Official APIs and public data only: Reddit and Hacker News discussions, app store reviews, the CFPB consumer complaint database, the Federal Register, job boards, and government registries. No scraping of sites that forbid it, no purchased lists, no "10 startup ideas" content — that's banned as an input. Every report shows a freshness stamp: "data collected through [date]."

Credits — how paying works

Credits are the unit you spend on reports (prices above, per report). Subscriptions include monthly credits; packs top you up: 3 for $39 · 10 for $99 · 25 for $199. If a fresh report on your market already exists in our library, you get it instantly for the same credit — and viewing an older report is free.

What this product does NOT do

No income promises — we sell evidence, not outcomes. No gray-zone data sources. No visitor de-anonymization. The free tier is a real demonstration (live scores + a full sample report), not a trial that nags you.
